The local Tim Hortons promotion across Canada has allot of Canadians drinking coffee.
The simple concept of roll up the rim that started five years ago as a way to promote coffee sales
at the cost of giving away prizes has turned into a Canadian takeover.
Not that the local Tim Horton Coffee stores don't already have huge lineup they are know getting allot longer. My Tim Hortons alone has already awarded over 300 winners. So when I pulled up in my new Dodge I was not surprised to see the lineup all they way out the door.
It is and has been a great promotion for the company. In fact sales during this time explode. Other companies have also tried such promotions but never the success of Tim Horton's
"roll up the rim"
Promotions have also been kicked up a notch in the Auto Industry. There are now more car commercials pushing the product before summer arrives. Companies like Autoprocanada.com
and Ford have great deals on new and used vehicles. Even Suzuki is offering O% financing
in there Vitara line.
